Chaos 'n' Drama Chapter II

Chaos and drama continues at casa de Parro rental. Pat came home from Texas and began freaking out over all the stuff her ex boyfriend did while she was gone. Including his other girlfriend and another friend's wife. Pat's laptop was missing, supposedly taken by another guy, Jerry, in exchange for something? He left a bunch of stuff in the garage and that is being held hostage till the laptop gets back. However, in order to get into the garage Jerry had to take the hinges off the door so Pat wants to take everything that is valuable into the house so Jerry can't get his hands on it till she gets the laptop back. Meanwhile, stupid ol' me is loaning Pat a laptop.

Bob is still in jail but had to go to court today for violating a prior restraining order Pat had on him for breaking her nose while they were living together several years ago. He was living with her upstairs off and on for several months. Maybe I should volunteer as a witness for the prosecution? A few weeks back, after he got arrested for the violation, Pat decided to lift the order. According to the cops who arrested Bob the other night the order still exists but it is a 'full contact restraining order.' Huh??? A full on oxymoron if ever I heard one.

Oh, did I mention the cops asked me about a meth lab in the garage. A friend of mine was the supervisor who showed up that night and asked me seriously if there was a meth lab in the garage or the house. Someone told them there was.

Bob's other girlfriend and Pat were going out to the jail to try and get the keys so they could all go to the airport and get the car. They couldn't go before this because, although there were several vehicles available there were no license plates to put on them. Don't you hate when that happens?

For those of you who don't understand that license plate thing, around here license plates are interchangeable depending on what vehicle is being used. Dour was going to the airport to pick up Pat and was stopped on the way back and had to leave his van in Brighton because it had the wrong plate on it. It's a good trick as long as you don't get caught.
